South Florida Code Camp – Davie, FL

This was the 15th year South Florida Code Camp was put on! Facundo Gauna spoke on “Lessons Learned on Microservices” and “Kubernetes for .NET Developers”. Santosh Hari presented “Implement Lambda architecture in Azure with Cosmos DB”, and Jared  Porcenaluk gave a talk on “Connecting My 1988 Ford Bronco II To The Internet”.

Orlando Code Camp – Orlando, FL

We had a big turn out at ONETUG’s Orlando Code Camp! Santosh Hari, Esteban Garcia, Justin VanWinkle, Jeff Truman, Facundo Gauna, and our newest team member Chris Ayers all gave presentations. We had a great time meeting everyone who stopped by the table and thoroughly cleaned out our swag!

The Azure Kubernetes Challenge – Reston, VA

Facundo Gauna and Justin VanWinkle facilitated The Azure Kubernetes Challenge workshop at the Microsoft office in Reston! The group learned all about best practices around Kubernetes and how other Azure services can work with Kubernetes to help them build and ship faster.

Global Azure Bootcamp – Orlando, FL and Tampa, FL

This is a free, one-day training event, taking place in several venues worldwide. This event is driven by local Azure community enthusiasts and experts. While supported by several sponsors, including Microsoft, the event is completely independent and community-driven.

Intro to Azure Front Door

Join Jeff Truman on Tuesday, May 7th at the St. Pete .NET Meetup. In this session you will go through an introduction to Azure FrontDoor service. Azure Front Door Service provides a scalable and secure entry point for fast delivery of your global web applications. Learn how to use Front Door with our quickstarts, tutorials, and samples. We will setup a new Azure Front Door instance, Tie it to background pools and have a discussion around Security, Routing and other features of the service. ** WARNING ** this will be a very interactive session so don’t be afraid to come and ASK QUESTIONS! Global DevOps Bootcamp – Orlando, FL

We’re hosting the annual Global DevOps Bootcamp in Orlando, FL on June 15th! During this 1-day event we will join (Microsoft) DevOps communities all around the world to talk, learn and play with DevOps concepts.

Goals of the Global DevOps Bootcamp: DevOps in general, Insights into where we are heading when it comes to DevOps and new technologies, Get people’s hands dirty and let them play with all the good Microsoft DevOps stuff

This year’s theme will be ‘You build it, you run away it!’. We will kick off with an introduction of a well-known authority in the DevOps space, followed by a keynote from the local partner about where we are heading with DevOps. Register today!
