One of our three strategic anchors at Nebbia Technology is Community (along with Expertise and Impact).  Our Community anchor encompasses User Group involvement (both speaking and organizing), speaking at Conferences, hosting user group meetings in our Orlando office as well as offering free workshops throughout the Southeast on topics ranging from DevOps, Azure, IoT and Cloud first development.  As 2019 rapidly approaches we will continue to build out our free Public workshop calendar with dates, topics and registration links.  We currently have two workshops scheduled heading into the new year and I will outline both below.

January 30th – Azure Adoption Strategies – Alpharetta, GA (Microsoft Office)

This workshop will be hosted by Esteban Garcia and Jeff Truman.  We will cover policies and processes so your team and business departments can take advantage of cloud services that drive business growth without compromising security, compliance, and governance of corporate data. We will provide you with an overview, guidance, and best practices for enterprise IT departments to introduce, consume, and manage Microsoft Azure-based services within your organization as well as the following topics:

  • Cloud compute strategies
  • Migration strategies
  • Azure Security
  • Cost Management
  • DevOps practices

Enterprise Architects, Cloud Architects, System Architects, IT managers, Infrastructure Managers and/or Directors will get the most out of the content and discussion in this workshop, however all roles are welcome to attend.  Space is limited and filling up fast so please register today if you are interested in attending!

February 12th – Enterprise IoT: Beyond the Proof of Concept – Tampa, FL (Microsoft Office)

This workshop will be hosted by Jared Porcenaluk and will educate you on the potential pitfalls of an Enterprise IoT project and how to avoid them in going beyond the proof of concept with your IoT project.  This hands-on workshop will cover:

  • IoT Development
  • How Azure can help your IoT project
  • deploying reliably
  • monitoring
  • visualizing insight from data

We just announced this workshop today and you can register and view additional details here.

These workshops can also be delivered in a one-on-one setting (qualifying customers may be able to leverage Microsoft funding for follow up PoC’s, Hackathons, Design Sessions and/or hands on deployment work).  Contact me today at if you have questions about either workshop or if you would like to host a workshop in your city (or for your organization).
